Bridging communities and
EMPOWERING NATIVE BUSINESSES

Native American entrepreneurs have deep connections to their communities and cultures, which allows them to create businesses that are rooted in tradition and designed to uplift their people. NABA prioritizes community engagement, which helps to strengthen the local economy and preserve cultural heritage. We also play a critical role in advocating for policies that support Indigenous economic development and fighting against discriminatory practices that have historically excluded Native businesses from opportunities. Native American business owners are instrumental in driving economic growth and creating meaningful change within their communities.

NABA advances Native American economic development by connecting Native-owned businesses and tribal enterprises with corporate and government partners, contracting opportunities, training, and capital. Native enterprise is a powerful economic engine rooted in tribal sovereignty and the unique government-to-government relationship between the United States and federally recognized tribes. We help our partners tap that strength through qualified Native vendors, and we help Native businesses turn opportunity into growth, in the United States and through our global partners abroad.
